Death and Life:

Death is usually an abstract thing to humans.
We hear about it, we see people dying everyday yet we believe  it won't happen to us.
We believe we will live till 100 and have grey hair and few teeth.
We live in the illusion that death is abstract and won't come for us. Not yet. Not now
But that is not the reality of life.

Anyone can die at anytime. It can be as mundane as choking on a bone or falling from the stairs or it could be death from cancer or an accident.

You can die at 5 years old or 15 or 50. You can die tomorrow or next week.
You can die in your kitchen or on the way to work.

Death is sudden and unexpected.

However, humans live as if they have forever.

We are constantly running out of time but we believe we still have more time. We will do it tomorrow. There is time next week.
When I get some money,I will do this, I will do that.
What if you die now?

What if this is the last phone call you make or the last post you read?

Would you do anything differently?

"If we could know when the lasts in life is... We'd stop and savor. We will live in the moment"

People always assume they will have more moments. I am still young, I can do this later.
The sadder thing is that, people waste days. They waste today, they waste tomorrow and the following days. Until they haven't actually lived at all, they only existed.

"I wasted my yesterdays and now am out of tomorrows"
~They both die at the end

Don't waste your yesterdays so that you won't have to beg for tomorrows. Eternity is a myth.
You can die right now.

But the question is:
Have you lived or just existed?

Your life may suck. You might have faced too many hardships to be happy. But sadness is a phase of happiness. Without sadness, you can't know what it means to be happy. Every life has sadness, the degree may vary.
You might live your life wishing you had a better life constantly. But what guarantee do you have that that life is going to be better than yours?

There is no perfect life. However,we must appreciate the imperfection of life. We must live. We must not just exist. Because when you die, you want to be able to say "Yes I lived"
